I'm Baaaaack!

Wondering where I've been?

I know, I know... I've been quiet for over a month.

My husband and I decided to move full time to our happy place in Fenwick Island, Delaware.

And outside of client work and a speaking opportunity coming soon, I was focused on getting the house packed and getting out the door.

And there's just a ton of other things to think about when you're moving.

Now I'm deep into unpacking the seemingly endless boxes.

And being a person with ADHD I did this AHMAZING job of organizing my schedule on the packing in CT side but didn't make much of a plan for the unpacking. Thankfully at this point, we've unpacked our clothes and I've finally got the kitchen sorted so less takeout/eating out!

My home office is still filled with boxes but I DO have my desktop and laptop up and running. Most importantly, Lorelei kitty has found a comfy chair in here and is back to heartily eating now that she's settling into our new home by the bay.

Mending the Nets

Knowing that these few months would be crazy with the move, I deliberately ran the Power Planning Program right at the beginning of the year. A great time to plan! But it's never too late to plan. More on that in a bit.

During the program, I created my plan to "mend the nets" for the months of January and February. Yes, I the leader of the program did the work too.

That's how much I believe in this program!

First, you might be wondering what mending the nets even means.

When the weather was bad fishermen couldn't get out on the water to fish, so they would mend the nets.

Meaning they would get ready for the next outing where they could earn their living.

As much as I love fishing (not literally), I knew that my neurozesty brain was going to have 100 tabs open and 99 of them would be about this move.

And I deeply believe that each client deserves my focus and attention, so I made sure to give that to my existing clients.

As for mending those nets, Cj, business manager extraordinaire, and I have been busily working on a number of background projects to make everything we put out in the world even better.

Such as

  • Creating a Programs page on the website
  • Reviewing and updating all client forms
  • Reviewing all annual and monthly subscriptions and letting a few of them go
  • Uploading videos in Descript so I can re-use that content for future blog posts
  • Writing new content for social media while Cj has busily been creating beautiful new images

Now it's March - many of our nets are mended - and we're ready to kick off some amazing programs through spring.

First up introducing ... drum roll please ...

The Personalized Productivity Plan

Thanks to our absolutely amazing group for the Power Planning Program at the beginning of January, the Personalized Productivity Plan was created.

Here's what a few of our participants had to say about personalized planning with us:

"The Power Planning Program helped get me in the chair to make the time to make the plan." Mandy H

"I realized that I’ve been ignoring mindfulness and freedom, which is why I’ve been feeling out of balance. The program has given me the awareness and tools to realign with what truly matters." Janice A

"This program guided me in defining my core values–Learning, Connection, Health, and Transcendence–helping me create a clearer, more intentional path forward." Summer V

Here's the thing -

Planning is one critical piece in having a work day that's less stressful and a life that's more enjoyable, especially when you have a neurozesty brain.

The other two are pausing and prioritizing.

And I believe that it's never too late to plan. Even if it IS the beginning of March. You've got most of this year left to meet those goals you've dreamed of but haven't accomplished yet.

Maybe your goal is

  • Starting a podcast
  • Writing a book
  • Finding a new job
  • Planning for your retirement
  • Freeing up your time for a vacation
  • Organizing your office
  • Exercising or meditating a few days each week

Really the sky is the limit when it comes to planning.

It's a month-long one to one personalized coaching program - the shortest one I've ever offered. And it's enhanced by custom GPTs I've created for you and have used with my clients.
