EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What you can expect from me as coach:
My expectations for you as client:
- Show up as you, fully prepared and open to new ideas.
- Recognize this is a commitment to yourself.
- Fill out the weekly coaching form before our session if you’re a 1:1 coaching client.
- Show up on time and follow my cancellation policy.
- Let me know right away if you have any concerns. Communication is a two-way street.
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality of the other group members and avoid sharing names and/or information shared by other group members with persons outside of your Program.
- Give your best effort to complete action steps, which will of course give you the best results.
Â
VIRTUAL SUPPORT
The Client may engage in reasonable virtual support during the duration of the client engagement (between commitment and the final session.)Â Â
- This includes email support: [email protected]
- The Coach responds to emails within 48 hours unless it’s a weekend or holiday.
- Please do not share sensitive (password, credit card, login, etc) information via online support.
Â
Note: If at any time The Coach feels the support requests are extending the bounds of what is considered reasonable, it is the responsibility of The Coach to initiate the conversation and set new firm and specific support communication guidelines with The Client.
Â
RE-SCHEDULING, CANCELLATIONS & MISSED APPOINTMENTS
If the coach should cancel a scheduled appointment, we will reschedule. An effort will be made to facilitate communication during a missed week.
Client is financially responsible for scheduled sessions that are missed by the client without prior notification to the coach (at least 24 hours).
Cancellations with 24 hours’ notice time can be rescheduled at our mutual convenience, recognizing that there is value in being as consistent as possible.
If the Client misses or must reschedule a session with less than 24 hours' notice, the Company will make reasonable accommodation for the Client’s missed appointments; however, availability beyond the initial scheduled appointments is not guaranteed.
Initiating the coaching session is the responsibility of the client, as is the phone bill covering the coaching calls. We use Zoom or FreeConferenceCall.com
Â
NATURE OF THE COACHING RELATIONSHIP
The Client understands that this is a goal and action-oriented program and not therapy or counseling. The coach will not advise the client during the coaching relationship unless specifically asked to do so. Attention to the goals and actions the client chooses in the coaching sessions – and to the effort to implement those goals and actions – are an important part of this endeavor.
It is The Coach’s job to focus the collective attention of the coaching team on the values, intentions, and goals that the client deems important.
Â
CONFIDENTIALITY
All communications and information between The Coach and The Client will be held in complete confidence.
The Company does have permission to reference general information from conversations for marketing and business building purposes so long as no information is given that would reveal the identity or specific business of the Client.Â
In order to create a safe coaching environment for all group members, we request that group members not share names and/or information about any of the group processes with persons outside of your Coaching/Program, unless it is about your own personal experience with ADHD and/or coaching.
At the same time in a group setting, you are aware that when you participate in a group call or interact with any group members by any means during the Coaching/Program, including in all group calls and the online group, you are voluntarily sharing and disclosing information which may be seen, heard, collected and used by others. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for any unauthorized use of any or all of the information you share with other group participants, whether during the calls, online, in private conversations, or in any other manner.Â
Â
MEDIA RELEASE
By participating in our Coaching/Program, you consent to our use of your comments used anonymously but including your professional title in all other coaching programs and all marketing materials, including, but not limited to, social media posts, website pages, newsletters and emails, blog articles, videos, podcasts, presentations, webinars, online courses, and books.Â
The use of any identifying information that could be directly linked to you, your name, photographs, videos, and/or audio recordings containing your image, voice, text, and/or likeness provided in any aspect of the Program, will only be used by prior written consent.Â
We keep a file of notes we take during coaching sessions for each client and share them with you in a private folder. We will retain these files for a year from the date of our last appointment.
Â
CREDENTIALING
Coach may be pursuing further credentialing as a professional coach from a nationally recognized credentialing organization, which includes sending a log of her client hours as part of the application process. Â
Occasionally a credentialing assessor may contact one or two clients to ask about their experience in coaching (though never about the actual content of the coaching). Credentialing organizations observe strict confidentiality in this matter; this information is never released to anyone else.
Your signature at the end of this letter gives me permission to include your name in this log.
We engage in training and continuing education pursuing and/or maintaining ICF (International Coaching Federation) Credentials. That process requires the names and contact information of all Clients for possible verification by the ICF. By signing this Agreement, you agree to have only your name, contact information, and start and end dates of coaching shared with ICF staff members and/or other parties involved in this process for the sole and necessary purpose of verifying the coaching relationship. No personal notes will be shared with the ICF.
According to the ethics of our profession, topics may be anonymously and hypothetically shared with other coaching professionals for training, supervision, mentoring, evaluation, and for coach professional development and/or consultation purposes.
Â
RESULTS & GUARANTEES
Results of The Coaching/Program can and do vary. The Company makes no guarantees. Any testimonials and examples used do not guarantee that anyone will achieve the same or similar results. Each individual’s success depends on many factors, including but not limited to, their background, dedication, resources, starting point in their business, desire and motivation.
